Your Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival in Paro — drive to Thimphu, first introduction to Bhutan
+
Upon arrival in Paro, you will be welcomed by your guide and begin the scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. After check-in, the day offers a gentle introduction to the country's culture and spiritual life. Visit the towering Buddha Dordenma, then continue to the National Memorial Chorten — a beloved place of daily prayer where locals gather to circumambulate and offer butter lamps. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed walk through the city and your first traditional dinner.
Day 02 Thimphu culture, crafts, and living heritage
+
Today is dedicated to exploring Thimphu through its culture, symbols, and everyday life. Begin with a visit to the Motithang Takin Preserve, where you can see Bhutan's rare national animal. Continue to the National Textile Museum to gain insight into Bhutan's rich weaving traditions. By late afternoon, return to Paro for a quieter evening in the valley.
Day 03 Tiger's Nest Monastery hike — Bhutan's most iconic experience
+
This morning is reserved for the hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery. The trail typically takes around 4 to 5 hours round trip and leads to one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in the country, perched dramatically on a cliffside at about 3,120 m. After the hike, return to Paro. In the evening, guests may choose a traditional hot stone bath or a farmhouse-style dinner for a deeper cultural touch.
Day 04 Paro heritage and departure
+
On your final day, discover more of Paro's sacred and historical character before departure. Visit Rinpung Dzong, one of the valley's most important fortresses, and if time allows, continue to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Your guide will escort you to the airport in time for your departure.
