Cultural touring before/after the trek, fully supported camping logistics, and upgraded recovery nights in Paro/Thimphu. Emphasise ease: guests hike with a daypack while the crew handles camp, meals, and gear. Finish with Tiger’s Nest for a full Bhutan arc.
This is Bhutan for travellers who want both worlds: refined comfort and real wilderness. After cultural immersion in the valleys, you trek through pine forests and high ridgelines with a full crew (guide, cook team, horse support), sleeping in well-set camps—then return to luxury hotels for recovery nights. Trekking in Bhutan is logistically supported: you carry only a daypack while the team sets up camp ahead.
Ideal for active couples and friends who want a meaningful physical challenge without giving up comfort at the edges of the journey. The rhythm is intentional: walk, breathe, arrive; then soak, restore, and celebrate Bhutanese hospitality.

Itinerary
Arrive in Paro and travel onward to Thimphu. The day is kept light—settle in, breathe the mountain air, and begin acclimatising gently. Evening briefing: what to expect culturally and on the trail.
A “living culture” day: monastery viewpoints, craft and heritage touches, and a short acclimatisation walk so your body starts adjusting before you go higher.
Meet your trekking crew and do a full gear check, packing support, and pacing plan. We’ll set expectations clearly: daily walking rhythm, altitude management, meals, camp routine, and safety.
Luxury touch: pre-pack a “camp comfort kit” (fresh layers, wet wipes, down booties, power bank, personal meds, etc.).
Your Druk Path–inspired trek is designed around the classic flow between Paro and Thimphu, crossing high passes and camping near lakes and ridge meadows. Classic camps along this route often include areas such as Jele Dzong, Jangchulakha, Jimilangtsho, Simkota Tsho, and Phajoding (final descent toward Thimphu).
What these days feel like:
- Morning tea and breakfast in camp → hike 3–6 hours (varies) → hot lunch or late lunch → arrive camp with time to rest, journal, and watch the light change
- Scenic highlights: prayer-flag passes, pine and rhododendron forests, open alpine sections, and sacred lake landscapes
Luxury trekking options (choose your level):
- Spacious high-quality tents + thicker sleeping mats
- Private toilet tent and wash setup
- Better dining setup (table, chairs, hot drinks, fresh snacks)
- Chef-led meals adapted to your preferences
- Extra “recovery care”: foot soak, stretching routine, warm towels at camp arrival
Arrive back in Paro for full comfort—hot shower, clean clothes, slow evening.
Hot stone bath (Dotsho): a traditional Bhutanese soak where fire-heated river stones warm mineral-rich water (often with Artemisia herbs), ideal after trekking.
A gentle cultural day—dzong viewpoints, temples, museum/heritage stops depending on your energy. This is intentionally unhurried after the trek.
The iconic Bhutan finale: hike to Tiger’s Nest at a calm, comfortable pace with rest stops. Optional pony support for the first section if you want to conserve energy.
Private transfer to the airport and departure.
