    Itinerary

Arrive in Paro where you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to Bhutan’s charming capital, Thimphu. Along the way, stop at scenic viewpoints to take in your first glimpses of the valleys and mountains. Check in at your hotel, followed by an easy garden or riverside walk to stretch after your flight. In the evening, gather for a gentle intention-setting circle, with light breathwork and herbal tea to help you settle into the slower rhythm of the journey. Early night for full rest.

Start the day with a 20-minute guided meditation to center yourself. Explore Thimphu’s key sites at a gentle pace: the Memorial Chorten for quiet reflection, the Zorig Chusum Institute to observe traditional arts in progress, and a slow wander through the weekend market (if in session). Lunch at a local café. The afternoon is yours — you might choose to journal, sip tea at a rooftop lounge, or take a short walk with your guide. Before dinner, you’ll receive simple journaling prompts to help capture your impressions.

Rise early for a drive to Dochula Pass. At 3,100 meters, the pass offers a breathtaking Himalayan panorama on clear days, framed by 108 white chortens. Here, we’ll pause for deep breathing exercises and a short mindful walk among the prayer flags. Continue to Punakha, stopping for photos and light stretches along the way. In Punakha, enjoy a riverside stroll before visiting the majestic Punakha Dzong, taking time to notice its intricate details and quiet courtyards. Evening optional: traditional hot-stone bath for deep muscle relaxation.

After breakfast, take an easy walk through emerald rice paddies to reach Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, where the guide will share stories of its unique blessings. Visit a hilltop nunnery for a brief silent sitting meditation, letting the chants and mountain breeze calm the senses. The afternoon is a scheduled rest period — read, nap, or enjoy a private tea ceremony. Dinner is served al fresco, weather permitting.

Journey back to Paro via winding mountain roads. Stop for a farm-to-table lunch hosted by a local family, learning about Bhutanese cooking and rural life. In the afternoon, your guide will lead you on a forest-bathing walk, inviting you to engage all five senses in nature. Arrive in Paro in the early evening for leisure time — perhaps a spa visit, short town stroll, or quiet contemplation in your room.

Today’s highlight is the hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. We take this slowly, with regular rest stops and mindful pauses to appreciate the changing views. For those who prefer a shorter option, you can walk to the café viewpoint and spend more time in contemplation there. In the afternoon, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest and most sacred temples, for a closing blessing ritual. End the day with a farewell dinner, sharing reflections with your fellow travelers.

A slow breakfast followed by a closing reflection circle to help integrate your experience before departure. Transfer to Paro International Airport with a calm mind and an open heart.
